This policy covers both games in the Tarmac series: Tarmac — Baggage Handler and Tarmac — Tug Run. They are separate apps, and the same rules apply to each except where this policy says otherwise.
Neither game collects, transmits, or shares any personal data of its own. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking by us. A game talks to the internet in two cases only: when Google Play or the App Store processes the one optional purchase, which is a conversation between you and the store; and, in Baggage Handler only, when you choose to watch a reward video, which is served by Google AdMob and described under ADVERTISING below. Tug Run shows no ads. Everything a game saves stays on your device.
Information We Collect
None, by us. Neither game has a sign-in, a profile, or a server of its own. We cannot see your scores, your settings, or how you play, because the games never send that information anywhere. The one third party that receives anything is Google, and only when you choose to watch a reward video in Baggage Handler; what it receives is listed under ADVERTISING.
Information Stored On Your Device
So that your progress survives closing a game, each game saves the following locally, in its own app storage on your device:
Tarmac — Baggage Handler
- Best scores and your recent runs, for each game mode
- Ramp Coins, purchased upgrades, and collected reward bags
- Whether you own the Ramp Pass
- Letter-hunt progress, daily contracts and your daily streak
- Awards you have earned
- How many reward videos you have watched today for a kit charge, so the daily limit holds
- Your settings: sound, music, vibration, aim assist and scene
Tarmac — Tug Run
- Stars and best times for each level and game mode
- Ramp Coins, tug upgrades, and the liveries you have earned and equipped
- Whether you own the Ramp Pass
- Awards you have earned, and whether you have completed the induction
- Your settings: sound, control layout, camera, guide line and zoom
The two games do not share this information with each other. Owning the Ramp Pass in one game does not unlock it in the other; each game's pass is its own purchase.
This information is not readable by us or anyone else. So that it survives deleting a game or moving to a new phone, a copy may also be kept in your own device backup:
- On Android, it is included in your Google account's device backup if you have backup switched on, and Android puts it back when you reinstall the game.
- On iOS, it is included in your iCloud or computer backup of the iPhone if you have backups switched on, and comes back when you restore that backup. Baggage Handler additionally keeps a copy in the iCloud key-value storage of the Apple ID signed in on your iPhone, if iCloud Drive is switched on, so its progress follows your Apple ID to a new iPhone.
In every case the copy is held by Google or Apple under their own privacy policies. It is stored in your account, not ours, and we have no way to read it.
In-App Purchases
Each game offers one optional purchase, the Ramp Pass. It is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Google Play on Android and by the App Store on iOS. In Tug Run the Ramp Pass opens the later levels, the second airport, the Arrivals and Dispatch modes, pass-only liveries, and double Ramp Coins. In Baggage Handler it removes ad offers entirely, gives a free continue every shift, double Ramp Coins, a daily kit refill and the pass liveries.
- Payment is taken by the store, under the store's own privacy policy. The game never sees your payment details, your name, or your email address.
- The store tells the game only that the purchase succeeded, so the pass can be switched on, and confirms ownership again on later launches so the pass survives reinstalling the game or moving to a new device. That confirmation is the only thing the game receives.
- The game does not send anything to the store beyond the request to buy or restore.
Neither game sells Ramp Coins or anything consumable. Coins are earned only by playing, or, in Baggage Handler, by choosing to watch a reward video.
The store's own records of the purchase are held by Google or Apple, not by us. See the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) or the Apple Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/) for how they handle it.
Advertising
This section applies to Tarmac — Baggage Handler only. Tug Run contains no advertising.
Baggage Handler shows reward videos through Google AdMob. They are never forced: an ad plays only when you tap a button that says so, in exchange for a continue, doubled shift coins or a kit charge, and the game is complete without ever watching one. Ramp Pass holders are not shown ad offers at all. There are no banners and no ads between screens.
When you choose to watch an ad, Google's advertising software receives the usual data an ad request carries: your device's advertising identifier (if you allow it), your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, your device model and operating system, and the ad's own interaction data, such as whether it was watched to the end. Google uses this to serve and measure the ad and, where you have consented, to personalise it. How Google handles this data is described in Google's advertising policy (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads).
Where the law requires it, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and some US states, the game asks for your consent before any ad is requested, using Google's consent form, and a "Privacy options" link in the game's settings lets you change that choice at any time. On iOS the system's App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown first; declining it still shows the same reward videos, without personalisation. You can also reset your advertising identifier or opt out of ad personalisation in your device's privacy settings.
Analytics
There are none. Neither game contains an analytics SDK or a crash-reporting service of our own.
Permissions
- Vibration: haptic feedback on key moments, such as loading a bag, a hit on the ramp, or earning an award. Can be turned off in each game's settings.
- Internet: used by Google Play or the App Store to complete or restore the Ramp Pass purchase, and, in Baggage Handler, to load a reward video when you ask for one. Both games play fully offline; without a connection Baggage Handler simply does not offer ads.
- Billing: lets Google Play offer the Ramp Pass for sale inside the game. Android only.
- Advertising ID: Baggage Handler on Android only, used by Google AdMob as described under ADVERTISING.
Children
Both games are listed for players aged 13 and over on Google Play and rated 4+ on the App Store. We collect no personal information ourselves. In Baggage Handler, ads are requested only on your own tap, and Google's consent form is shown wherever the law requires one.
Deleting Your Data
Uninstalling a game removes everything it has saved. Clearing the app's storage through your device settings has the same effect, and both games offer "Reset progress" in their own settings; in Baggage Handler this also removes the iCloud copy. We hold nothing on any server, so there is nothing for us to delete. Your record of a Ramp Pass purchase lives with Google or Apple, and you can manage it through your store account. Data that Google holds from reward videos is managed through your Google and device ad settings, not through us.
Changes To This Policy
If a future version of either game adds anything that touches the network beyond what is described here, such as a global leaderboard or ads in Tug Run, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
